And she's off!
Yesterday afternoon I cast on for my Ruby Rock Island Shawl (Affectionately renamed Dorothy) and sped through the first 6 rows.
Then I promptly found an error, ripped out, and started again feeling better for it.
The first part is to knit the lace edging horizontally across, it's 71 repeats of an 8-row chart. It's only 12-16 stitches across though so it goes pretty quickly.
You just have to tread carefully as it's open lace and as practiced as I am, I still hate trying to find mistakes in lace.
I'm on repeat #19.
I'm making my way along.
My goal is to have the edging done by Monday night.
I can do it!
